Iconic Keepsakes started in 2019 in Maple Ridge, BC, with one idea: a souvenir should feel like it came from somewhere. Every backdrop, icon, and magnet is designed and laser cut in our own shop, layer by layer, then finished and packed by hand.

What makes SceneScapes interactive?
SceneScapes feature a multi-layer laser-cut wood construction designed so visitors can physically customize their souvenir. Every kit includes themed wooden icons that slide and slot directly between the etched layers of the backdrop or magnet base. Customers can arrange the icons in any position or swap them out with other packs to create their own personalized scene.
Can icon packs be mixed and matched across different bases?
Yes. Every SceneScapes icon pack is universally compatible across our entire product line. Whether your customer purchases a large destination backdrop kit or a smaller magnet set, any 4-piece themed icon pack slots seamlessly into any base.
What shapes and styles do SceneScape kits come in?
We offer kits in both standalone tabletop backdrops and functional magnets:
- Backdrop Kits: Available in classic framed landscapes as well as iconic silhouettes including the Canadian Maple Leaf, Grizzly Bear, Moose, Bison, Orca Whale, Ski Goggles, and Mountain peaks.
- Magnet Kits: Available in 4-piece Square sets, 4-piece Semi-Circle sets, and 2-piece Panorama layouts. Non-skyline magnet scenes tile together seamlessly to form one continuous landscape across a fridge or magnetic board.
Do you charge extra for custom name drops or location branding?
No, custom name drops are included at no additional charge. We can engrave your specific town, park, attraction, museum, or venue name directly onto the front base plate of your backdrops and magnets to create an exclusive keepsake tailored to your location.
Can we create a completely custom backdrop or icon set for our attraction or event?
Yes. We regularly partner with museums, historic sites, and attractions to turn signature buildings, vehicles, exhibits, or local landmarks into bespoke SceneScapes!
